These pants are giving high-waisted a whole new meaning. Actually, they’re corset jeans and I first saw these puppies being offered by UK retailer Topshop earlier this year. Looks like it’s starting to hit the streets.
Not sure they’re actually going to take off (I’m betting no) but this style (by Found Denim, pictured above) was recently featured in Nylon magazine’s all denim issue, too. Man, I bet these are painful to sit down in, can you imagine a more uncomfortably thick fabric to cut into your midsection?
ARCK! This sounds horrible. If it really takes off, I don’t think this trend will last because 99% of women will not look good in these jeans.
Yikes. An actual corset would be far less uncomfortable!
These jeans are hot! I love the new high waisted trend. I am looking for a pair of these corset skinny jeans, but they seem so scarce!
