We’ve been giving and giving in the holiday spirit (tiring, I know), but now it’s time to pamper ourselves a bit. We’ll even call it a new year’s resolution if we have to.
I stumbled upon Nailtini.com a couple of weeks ago and have been anxious to purchase. You make your own nail polish cocktail by mixing and matching a main color with a mixer and a topper. I chose Bordeaux, mixed with Cream and Crushed Ice (silver/white mica) as the topper. Pretty, yes?
At first, I thought the appeal of the site was that they mixed the cocktail for you, and sent you one personalized bottle of your creation. But that’s not the case, which is mildly disappointing. Instead, you get the three bottles of polish, and instructions on how best to apply each layer (my mixture, therefore, came out to $36 at $12 per bottle).
The site also features lipstick cocktails, but it’s not as easy to create a color out of the blue. I found quite a few favorites though, especially on the recipe page where they list a couple of concoctions. Lipsticks and lip pencils are $16.50 each.
Happy cocktailing!

Hi!
I own The Nail Lounge, the cleanest nail salon in the O.C. and we carry Nailtini polish for our clients to use. You should come in and do all the mixing you like!!!
I LOVE Nailtini polish!! Especially the toppers. They have one called blue flame and it changes the color of any nailtini polish you put it over. You can get so many different colors from just this one bottle of polish. Keep up the great work Michelle!!
